ANTA C202 6 Pro: US$224 on ANTA US vs US$168 elsewhere

ANTA's US site shows US$224 for the C202 6 Pro; New Republic shows US$168 final sale. What the US$56 gap actually costs you. Prices checked 23 September 2026.

Verdict

If you already know your ANTA size, New Republic's US$168 is the cheapest sourced US price for the men's C202 6 Pro — but it is final sale, no returns, no exchanges, on a broken size run. If you don't, pay ANTA US's US$224 for the 30-day return window and one free exchange. And if you just want a cheap C202, the standard men's C202 6 is US$78 on ANTA's own site, which is the better buy of the two.

The men’s ANTA C202 6 Pro is US$224 on ANTA’s own US site today and US$168 at New Republic — a US$56 gap, or 25%, on what appears to be the same shoe in the same colourways. That is the live domestic spread, and it is narrower than the US$240-versus-US$168 number doing the rounds, because ANTA US no longer lists the Pro at US$240.

This is a pricing story, not a review. I have not worn, weighed or run in any version of the C202, and nothing below is a judgement on how the shoe performs. It is a comparison of what two US sellers charge for the same article number on one day, and what you give up to take the lower figure.

Prices checked 23 September 2026, men's C202 6 Pro, both US domestic sellers. Neither figure includes US sales tax or shipping.

ANTA US’s C202 6 Pro page displays “Sale price $224.00 / Regular price $280.00 −20%”, with sizes 6.5 to 14 in the selector and three colourways: Orange/Purple, Green/Pink and White/Red/Green. One caution on that price block — it is variant-specific, and the block I read was tied to the White/Red/Green selection. Other colourways could price differently.

New Republic shows US$168.00 against a US$240.00 “regular price”, in Orange/Purple and Green/Pink, sizes 6.5 to 12.

The US$240 list price is from November 2024

The US$240 figure is real, but it is historical. ANTA’s own launch blog for the series put the C202 6 at US$130 and the Pro at US$240; search metadata dates that post to 14 November 2024, roughly 22 months ago. The live product page now shows a US$280 regular price. So any comparison framed as “30% off a US$240 list” is measuring against a number ANTA US has moved on from, and the reseller’s own US$240 “regular price” is anchoring to the same old figure.

Same shoe, or a region-specific version?

The US discounters are selling ANTA’s US article numbers, not grey-market imports with different codes. ANTA US publishes 8124D5571-1, 8125A5576-2 and 8125B5576-2 for the Pro. Sneaker Politics lists its Orange/Purple pair as style 8124D5571-1, and Extra Butter lists a Green/Pink pair as SKU 8125B5576-2. Both match.

New Republic names the same two colourways but does not publish a code on the page, so it is very likely the same article rather than confirmed.

For contrast, ANTA Philippines sells what look like the same colourways under 1125A5576-2 and 1125A5576-3 — a genuinely region-specific article number. That is the distinction worth knowing when a listing looks suspiciously cheap: a different prefix means a different regional article, a matching 81xx code means US stock.

One more correction for anyone cross-checking codes: the 8124D5570 and 8125A5575 families belong to the standard C202 6, not the Pro.

What the US$56 buys, and what it costs

This is where the saving goes.

New Republic’s page flags the Pro as final sale, not eligible for returns or exchanges, and the site’s terms add that orders containing final-sale items cannot be cancelled once placed. The general 14-day window with a US$9 restocking fee and free contiguous-US return shipping in its delivery and returns policy does not apply to this shoe.

The size run is also broken. The page lists 6.5–12 while simultaneously showing “Only a few units left” and an out-of-stock notify-me state. I could not enumerate which individual sizes are buyable, on either site — ANTA US shows its size list too, but I could not confirm stock status per size there either. Assume nothing about your size until the cart says otherwise.

So the US$56 is a bet on getting the size right first time, with no recourse if you don’t, in a shoe New Republic’s own copy describes as slightly snug. On a US$168 pair, that is not obviously a good trade. ANTA US’s 30 days and one free exchange is what the extra US$56 is buying, and for a brand whose sizing most US buyers have never handled, I would take it.

I found no published warranty terms for the shoe at any of the three sellers.

The better value story is the standard C202 6

The Pro discount is not a reseller undercutting a full-price flagship. The whole C202 6 line is being cleared out behind its replacement: ANTA US now sells a C202 7, whose own page describes it as using the steep rocker geometry of the C202 6 Pro.

On ANTA’s own site today, the men’s C202 6 is US$78 from a US$130 regular price, marked −40%, and the women’s is US$91 from US$130, marked −30%. Both come with ANTA US’s returns policy attached. Shopnings lists the men’s C202 6 at US$129.99, which is above ANTA’s own clearance price.

A US$78 shoe from the brand’s own store, returnable, is a far cleaner purchase than a US$168 final-sale Pro. I have not run in either, so I cannot tell you what you lose stepping down from the Pro — only that the money works better one way than the other. It is the same pattern we saw when 361 Degrees undercut AliExpress on its own carbon racer: the official store is no longer automatically the expensive option.

Importing does not beat US$168

Short answer: I cannot publish a landed cost, and I would rather say so than estimate one.

What is established is the rule. CBP guidance CSMS #66065494 states that from 12:01 a.m. on 29 August 2025, goods of all countries lost the de minimis exemption regardless of value, country of origin or mode of entry. China and Hong Kong had already lost it earlier in 2025. A Federal Register notice dated 24 June 2026 confirms the suspension remains in force, with statutory termination of the exemption set for 1 July 2027.

What I could not establish is the HTSUS duty rate for this footwear type, the current tariff stack, any carrier brokerage fee, or a sourced FX rate. Without those, no total is publishable, and I have left ANTA Philippines’ ₱6,997.50 (from ₱13,995, tax included) and ANTA Thailand’s ฿8,990 for the women’s Pro in their own currencies, unconverted. I could not confirm that either storefront ships to a US address.

You don’t need the arithmetic to reach the answer, though. The cheapest Asia-sourced listing I could price in dollars, Kicksown’s C202 6.0 PRO “Purple Orange”, starts at US$201 — already above US$168, before any duty or brokerage. And marketplaces of that type do not prepay duty: Kicks Crew’s shipping page states plainly that displayed prices exclude import duties and customs fees, which the courier or customs collects on arrival. CBP’s own consumer guidance warns that courier charges and broker fees regularly come in higher than buyers expect. That is the same trap that made the Li-Ning Feidian Elite 6 grey import a worse deal than it looked, and the reverse of the ANTA Zone 2 90 situation in Australia, where the local price was the expensive one.

The domestic clearance price has simply gone below the grey-market ask. Import maths does not rescue that.

What I could not price

Three gaps, stated rather than filled:

  • Amazon. There are live listings (B0H6BHD2LS and B0GJYN93ST for the Pro, B0FSLG74XS for the standard 6), but I could not read a price on any of them. Amazon is not in the comparison.
  • Sneaker Politics. The page displayed US$240.00 while also showing an instalment figure of four payments of US$33.00, which implies a US$132 total. I could not resolve the contradiction, so treat the US$240 as read and check the live page before acting on either number.
  • Extra Butter and Stadium Goods both list the Pro; neither price was readable.

One last note on the women’s side: I found no women’s C202 6 Pro page on ANTA US. The women’s C202 pages on the collection were the C202 6, the C202 5 GT at US$240 and the C202 7. That is absence of evidence from a search session rather than a confirmed gap in the range.

Prices move fast on a model being cleared out. Both figures here were read on 23 September 2026; check them yourself before you buy.
